Day 1

July 3, 2007- London

Seats were very uncomfortable. I sat like 4 rows from dad, then i moved next to him b/c it was an open seat. Also like Chrissy, we had about like 200 or so movies, tv shows, music, etc. I watched Friends, the OC, Family Guy, beginning of Grease, Scrubs, and other things.
Ate at some Italian restaurant for lunch. I had the veggie soup. Dad ordered sparking water. Nasty. =)
Dad met up w/ Ron to discuss stuff from Jason. I went to the outside room and slept for a while.
<<-- Went to the British museum at 5, but we only stayed for a while b/c it closed at 5:30. =( Rode the subway to Herrod’s at Kightsbridge! I was excited, but when I got to the clothing part (the ground floor was all cosmetics) IT WAS ALL FRIGGIN’ DESIGNERS! Turn left there was Pucci, turn right it was D&G, straight ahead was Prada. WTF. ß that was the ladies section, so I thought teens would be better, but no! In the teens and children’s section was Burberry, Dior, Chanel. WTF again! Do London kids wear name brand clothes or something? Anyways, walked like 20 miles in there b/c there were like 6 floors. Also, Dad & I had a debate whether or not to buy a Burberry polo for 38.50 pounds or a England futbol (soccer) jersey for 34.50. I bought the jersey, so people wont nag at me on how rich I am.
Took a subway to New Oxford street to check out the stores @ like 8 pm, but for 8:00, the sun was so bright it felt like it was still 5:00-ish.
I thought we went around in a circle b/c there were like 3 Zara store, 3 GAP stores, and 2 H&M stores, all on the same street. Pretty weird. All the stores were closed b/c it was late. We went to a pub to go eat Fish & Chips, but that pub everyone was drinking and no one was eating, so yeah…We ate at a Lebanese restaurant. It was okay. Their KISS station had a top 10 R&B things, and they were playing like “I Believe I can Fly, Don’t Cha, some Eminem and Dido song” OOLLLDDD. Haha. Took a subway back to hotel. Our feet were aching. Then dad and I just collapsed on the bed, literally.
Feet very tired form walking.
Today, I’ve probably seen over 200 Mercedes-Benz, 150 BMWs, and a lot of Audis OOOO, porches, and I SAW A BENTLY! Sports car. Pretty cool. I was amazed how many Benz there was, and even the red buses, tow trucks, you name it is all made from Mercedes and have the sign on it. Pretty cool
